This time, The Wellesley is offering a brand new Churchill Afternoon Tea to their customers, featuring some delightful cakes and sweets treats. The tea can be taken in the Cigar Lounge, a beautifully elegant room attached to the stunning cigar humidor.
The tea includes the best salted caramel macaroon I ever tasted and a delicious chocolate and vanilla cake modelled on the traditional Battenburg, scrumptious and thankfully for my taste buds, no marzipan in site!
Pastry chef Cristiano Paolini created these great chocolate cigars to accompany the tea, though something tells me, most guests will be wanting to take these away and playfully ‘puff’ on them later.
You can also take tea in the lovely Jazz Lounge…..
We also shot some new additions for their Italian truffle menu, which consisted of a beef tartare confit, with yolk and hazelnut truffle shaving
and a slow-cooked egg-white asparagus barley salad
We also shot this pizza burrata with truffle.
