One of the best things about being a photographer at Christmas is photographing Christmas related things. Whether it’s parties, seasonal food or, in this case, decorations!
And when they’re in beautiful historical buildings, such as Chandos House, a Grade I listed Georgian townhouse, built in the 18th century; it makes it extra magical. At Christmas time, the events team make a special effort to decorate the venue and bring in some of the holiday spirit to the building.
The team brought me in to shoot some of the set-ups, so that they could then use the images when promoting their spaces for future Christmas bookings. By timing the shoot before an actual party was about to take place, the events team were able to take advantage of the fact that everything was already ‘dressed’ for the shoot.
