The MS Society wanted to gather some new images to help with their “Active Together” campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the benefits of physical and social activity for people living with MS.
In order to get some natural photos, we went to The Marjorie Collins Wellbeing Centre, which specialises in supporting people living with MS through a variety of activities and fitness classes.
The people in the photographs were fantastic and really supportive of me being there with my camera. As far as they were concerned, if it helped the cause, they were more than happy to be involved. This of course really makes my life easier – after all, these are not easy ‘topics’ to photograph; but the fact that I was able to convey the positivity of the activities through my photographs is a great step towards spreading the ‘active together’ message the MS Society team want to send out.
