The Royal Society of Medicine is one of the country’s major providers of postgraduate medical education, providing a neutral platform for informed debate about important, often controversial, healthcare topics, and has over 20,000 members. Based at 1 Wimpole Street – where I recently did some venue photography – the RSM houses 47 ensuite bedrooms, which can be hired by members.

The photos they currently have of the hotel were taken a long time ago and lots of the rooms have been refurbished since they were last shot, so the marketing team hired me for the day. They also wanted to set up some creative shots, showing the rooms in use and present some imagery that gives a sense of comfort and welcome and are quite contemporary. They plan to use these images on the website, brochures and social media.

I’m pleased to say that I got to star in my own photo-shoot (my hand reaching for chocolate at the end) and eat the chocolates. So it really was a great success.
