Wow, what another wonderful event I was privileged to photograph for the luxury hotel group Red Carnation Hotels; this time for the Knightsbridge based boutique hotel Egerton House. They had just commissioned an amazing garden installation, by the extremely talented Jane Wadham, Chelsea Flower Show Gala Night florist since 2000 and asked me to do some hotel photography for them on the PR launch night.
The installation, which is inside and outside the hotel (see the photos below) was accompanied by a gorgeous Summer Garden Afternoon Tea and, for the launch night, botanical cocktails.
It’s great to see the afternoon tea photography and flower installation photos used on several websites, including ‘The Resident’, ‘Afternoon Tea.co.uk’ and featured right at the top of ‘Country & Town House’.
Of course The Egerton House Hotel has used them in their home page banner images as well as a special blog feature, which you can read here: Egerton Garden Blog Post.
Although Chelsea Flower Show has now come to a close, and the inside installation at Egerton House Hotel ends on the 28th May; the delicious Egerton Garden Afternoon Tea and cocktails, which you can see in the hotel photography below, as well as the outside floral display, will be retained until the end of the summer.
Check out the Egerton House Hotel website to book, or swing and take a peak at the floral installation. The staff won’t mind at all as they’re extremely welcoming – although don’t blame me if you end up being tempted in for tea and cake!
