A little luxury photography shoot in the countryside 

I love exploring – whether it’s the streets of London, locations abroad or the gorgeous English countryside. Part of the joy of exploration is architecture and peeping inside beautiful buildings. So how lucky was I to get to photograph in a place as stunning as The Langley Hotel, a beautifully renovated country manor home in Langley Park, part of the Marriott Bonvey Group? It really is fabulous to take photos at a luxury hotel like this and help create five star images. The shot above is just a phone snap, as I left, with the place gloriously ready for Christmas…..

Spa Photography Shoot

The Langley Hotel has been in operation for under a year and not many people know about the stunning spa in the basement, which all hotel guests have access to. So the marketing team wanted some lifestyle photography of the spa in use and it is important for them to have high quality photographs showing a range of treatments available and the beautiful facilities in use with ‘real people’ in the photos.

Health & Fitness Photography

The hotel also has a fantastic state of the art fitness centre designed by Matt Roberts, the original pioneer of the UK Personal Training industry and renowned personal trainer. So understandably, having some photos of Matt training clients in the gym would be of great use for any marketing/PR around this unique gym and for some of the fitness packages available at The Langley Hotel. 

We also took the opportunity to photograph Matt’s portrait in the gym, (it was too blustery outside) before he had to disappear and meet one of his clients. I particularly love this portrait above, which I grabbed just at the end of the shoot and love the way the mirror creates a frame around Matt and the gym is reflected back.

Before I left, I was lucky to catch the sun setting over Langley Park (on my phone) and admire just how beautiful this place is. I hope I’ll be back again in the near future….
