It was an absolute privilege to be asked by The London Fire Brigade, who I regularly shoot PR and marketing images for, to be the official photographer for the opening of new the headquarters, in borough, by her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip.

I was briefed on the correct protocol before the shoot, but otherwise given free range to capture the entire visit, making sure to take in shots of the key speeches and interaction with the Fire Fighters and staff. I particularly like the shots in the gym as they are fun and relaxed and you can see The Queen having a laugh with one of the men as he explains their fitness routine.

Images were shared by The London Fire Brigade PR team across press and media the next day.
