Funnily enough, I had actually been to Friends House, meeting up with a fellow photographer for a coffee and cake, just a few months before I received their call about photography. I’d had a delicious cake, so I remembered them well (but more about cake later)…

The marketing team wanted me to captured a variety of elements of the venue so that they had fresh images for marketing and the website. The shoot was held over two days as there were many aspects to photography, from the building itself, to meeting rooms, the honey bees, produce they sell in the cafe, staff photos and food and drink.
