London Headshot Photography
One of the things I often see when looking at a company website or presence on social media, is a lack of consistency and professionalism in their staff images. There is something really impressive about a company who has a really clean and professional ‘About Us’ section on their website, with flattering and well lit portraits of their staff.
How a Good Portrait Represents Your Company Brand
Whether you’re a charity, a hospitality business or you’re in FTSE100, the people in your company matter. And they matter to your clients and supporters too. So investing in really great portraits of your staff, showing them off on your website and persuading them to update their own LinkedIn profiles (with the same professional photo) is a really great idea.
Your staff represent the company. If you are a smart and very serious company, you’ll want their portraits to be so. If you’re have a more relaxed vibe to your business, you will want professional images, but perhaps the clothing the teams wear will be more casual.

Or you may go for photos that capture the atmosphere of your place of work, especially great if you a business that customers make a physical visit to, such as this portrait of Dusko Babic, Director of Operations at Dukes London Hotel, which was taken in the hotel brasserie.

Whatever you go for, the fact that you select a consistent style and the people look relaxed and happy, will give a great and positive insight to the people behind your business.
How a Professional Photographer can Help you get Really Good Portraits
If you are considering investing in new staff portraits, one thing that is extremely important, more, I think, important than the technical side of things, is the way the photographer will make each sitter feel. In order to get people to relax for the camera and not feel like they’re getting a prison photo taken, is by using a photographer that has a ‘way’ with people. And yes, of course, I’m going to take this opportunity that I will do just that, if you hire me.
I have a ‘super power’ that makes people feel good. Yes, there is banter and chatter involved, but it’s not just that, I honestly think it’s just an skill set, like any other. Someone can hear the right note and conduct and beautiful song, another person can take some wood and tools and make a beautiful piece of furniture. I can take my camera, work with a person and capture their best side. It’s as simple as that. Try me…..
