Bit of a last minute call from my clients at Unicef UK for this one – they wanted some images to create their fundraising booklet for Soccer Aid 2018. I didn’t have much time to plan but was given a clear brief of what they needed and understood the images would be cut out by the in-house designers so my main goal was to focus on create and drawing out the fun from the images.
It’s important that these photos were playful and engaging as the idea is to encourage people to take up a fundraising activity themselves and help raise money for a great cause.
We use a simple back room in their office for the main photos and popped to the local park to get a few football action shots. All the people in the shots are staff at Unicef, including some of the directors, which is really fantastic and just demonstrates the inclusivity of this campaign. As you can see from a few samples below and then the actual brochure further down, the cutting and pasting of the images, surrounded by key text works really well and creates a bright and and funky piece of fundraising material.
