“I’ve worked with Susannah on a few shoots now, and each time it has been a pleasure. She is very professional and always strives to get the best shots possible in the allocated time. She is also very adaptive to changing circumstances if things don’t go exactly to the initial plan, and is very good at coming up with ideas for shots on location after seeing what we have to work with. The new photos she has taken of our club area in the latest shoot are a million times better than the ones we had!” James Nicholls, Senior Designer at The Royal Society of Medicine.”
This was a venue photography photo-shoot for The Royal Society of Medicine and involved a mixture of shots, from interiors photographs of some of the rooms for hire, to people photography showing members enjoying the facilities, which we set up on the day. In the afternoon we then did a food photography shoot in the restaurant, showing some the delicious dishes set-up on the table.
Photographs will be used mainly for the new website that the RSM has just launched, which you can see from some of the clippings below. The marketing department will also use the shots for a variety of other purposes, such as brochures, posters and banner stands. Of course like any good photo-shoot involving food, I got to sample the desserts, which I have to say were incredible. Actually some of the best desserts I’ve tasted! The bad news? You have to be a member of RSM to enjoy the restaurant. Now if that’s not an incentive to do a medical degree, I don’t know what is……..!
A great demonstration of using detailed images on websites
And a selection of some of the photos we took throughout the day.
