Part of our ongoing Travel and Leisure Photography commission for Haven Holidays, I got to travel to North Wales.
The holiday park here, not far from Snowdonia National Park, has had a brand new refurbishment, with a new Dragon Lakes Adventure Village, Dragons Lake play area for the children and a new Coast House bar and grill and Cakery.
New Facilities Photography Shoot.
I was sent up here to photograph the brand new facilities, which included interior restaurant photography and lots of natural lit exterior photos of the new Adventure Village.
For these Travel and Leisure Photographs, I was given a photo shot list and, coordinating with the onsite teams and working around the best natural light over a few days, I captured different photographs around the park. Haven now has fully up to date professional photographs to market their new facilities.
Social Media Photographs.
Apart from having professional holiday park photographs of the new facilities, which allow potential holiday makers the opportunity to see, beforehand, what they are booking, the photos I took are also being used on Instagram to help promote the park.
Professional photos for social media are a great asset for any company wishing to engage with potential new customers and stay in the minds of those past customers who are considering returning to visit.

Personally, it was an absolutely brilliant hospitality photography assignment, one which made me feel like I was on holiday myself! Not only did I get to stay in a lovely caravan, on the new pitch, which was on my shot list; I also got to sample all the fantastic food on site and explore the local area, which is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend a visit and can’t wait to be hired to go on photography assignment at Hafan Y Mor again.
